Everyone is hanging up door signs asking for good things in the coming year. They remain up until next year’s festival. Ours says ‘Blessings’!😂What would yours ask for?

A Touch of Winter Magic

If you’re planning a winter vacation (because it’s too hot outside and you’re already wishing for winter!), I highly recommend #Harbin in northern #China!  Their #IceFestival is something children can only dream of. Real reindeer, ride in a sleigh, gorgeous sculptures you can actually climb!  One of the most magical sights I’ve seen in my life and it lived up to all my expectations.

Awww, #Starbucks has little #puppy cups for the #Chinese New Year Festival ❤️🐶 This is the year of the dog!! If you were born in 2006, 1994, 1982, 1970, or 1958 – this is probably your year!!!!!

BTW – today is the Small Chinese New Year when you clean the house, get rid of last year’s stickers & tokens, and send the kitchen god to heaven to report on the family’s behavior over the past year All in preparation for the big day!. Happy Small Chinese New Year!
